STATEMENT
19.03.2014Brussels/Brüssel 19/03/2014
The presidium of FUEN is very concerned about the escalating conflict in Ukraine and in Crimea. We call on all the political decision makers of both the Russian and Ukrainian government to continue dialogue and to defuse this conflict, taking into account the justified demands of the minorities.
At the same time we expect the European institutions to support the process of a conflict-deescalating dialogue, taking account of European minority standards and human rights.
