To ensure that you are fully informed about the collection, processing and use of personal data on our websites, please read the information below.


1. RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Your data will be processed in the name and on behalf of the FUEN (Federal Union of European Nationalities, Schiffbrücke 42, D-24939 Flensburg).

2.COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

FUEN is aware of its great responsibility in the processing of personal data and therefore undertakes to fully comply with data protection rights as part of its social responsibility. Protecting the personal rights and privacy of every individual is FUEN’s top priority when handling personal data.

Personal data transmitted to FUEN electronically, e.g. name, postal address, e-mail address or other personal data, will only be used by FUEN for the purpose stated in each case, will be kept secure and will not be passed on to third parties.

Registration for the annual FUEN Congress takes place on a specially created website. The personal data requested by the registration will only be passed on to the respective accommodation for the purpose of carrying out the registration. We refer to the data protection information of the respective place of accommodation.


2.1. NEWSLETTER

Register for our newsletter, we collect and store the data you provided when you registered.

As a registered newsletter subscriber you will receive our newsletter and any related information (e.g. about changes to our newsletter offer or to the technical requirements for subscription). The registration for our newsletter is done in the so-called ‘double-opt-in’-procedure. This means that we will send you an e-mail with a confirmation link upon your registration. Registration is not complete until you have clicked this link.

You can revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the newsletter dispatch at any time. In every newsletter there is a link with the possibility of revocation.


3. LEGAL BASES FOR THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA

Legality (legal basis) for the processing of your data results from your consent (in accordance with Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)) or for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures (in accordance with Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR).

Your data will be stored by us for the duration of the validity of your consent or until the fulfilment of its purpose. Subsequently, this data will be deleted if there are no other legal obligations for further storage of the data.

Your data will not be used by us for automated decision making or profiling.


4. COOKIES

A "cookie" is a small text file that we transmit via our web server to the browser's cookie file on your computer's hard drive. This enables our website to recognize you as a user when a connection is established between our web server and your browser. Cookies help us to determine the frequency of use and the number of users of our Internet pages. The content of the cookies we use is limited to an identification number that no longer allows any personal reference to the user. The main purpose of a cookie is to recognize the visitors of the website.

5. EXTERNAL SERVICES & EMBEDS

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. "("Google"). The use is based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 (f) GDPR. Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website such as:
Browser type/version,
operating system used,
Referrer URL (the previously visited page),
Host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
Time of the server request,
are usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. We have also added the code "anonymizeIP" to Google Analytics on this website. This guarantees that your IP address is masked so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

This information is used by Google on our behalf to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website and Internet use. We use functions of Facebook, a social media network of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland.

YouTube

Our website contains so-called embeddings of videos on YouTube. From our side only the connection to YouTube is made possible. YouTube is an offer from Google Inc. Flickr

We use the Flickr service for the presentation and archiving of image and photo material. Flickr's privacy policy is available at http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/de/yahoo/einzusehen.

Google Maps

Our website uses Google Maps to display different places. It can be assumed that Google uses cookies when using the map and locates your location in order to record and evaluate your behaviour. You can prevent the location from being recorded by making settings on your device.


6. LINKS TO OTHER WEBSITES

Our website contains links to other websites. We have no influence on whether the operators of other websites comply with data protection regulations.

As a provider, we are responsible for our own content in accordance with general laws. Links to contents provided by other providers are to be distinguished from these own contents. We accept no responsibility for external content provided for use via links and do not adopt their content as our own.

7. YOUR RIGHTS TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA

According to the General Data Protection Regulations you have the right to free information about your stored personal data and, if necessary, the right to correct, restrict or delete this data at any time. If we have to comply with legal storage obligations, we will restrict your data for further processing so that they can no longer be used for the purposes stated above.

You also have the right to receive your personal data stored by us in electronic form. You can revoke your consent for the storage and processing of your stored data at any time. In this case we will immediately delete the data stored by you or restrict the processing of data that cannot be deleted due to legal requirements.
