Official opening of TheaterFest in St Vith
19.10.2016FUEN followed the invitation to the official opening of the TheaterFest 2016 of the AGORA-Theater of the German-speaking Community in Belgium.
Two very different dance performances, “Stoel” and “Alibi” marked the beginning of the Theatre Festival in St Vith. In the break between the two performances, there were speeches by the leader of the AGORA-Theatre Kurt Pothen, the Minister of Culture of the German-speaking Community Isabelle Weykmans and the alderman for culture of the city of St Vith.
The AGORA-Theatre is one of the partners in a project of several minority theatres across Europe that was launched in Bruneck, South Tyrol, during the EUROPEADA 2016, the European football championship of the autochthonous national minorities.
