
FUEN TAG Spokesperson paid a working visit to Ankara
06.01.2025Spokesperson of the FUEN Working Group on Turkic Minorities and Communities (TAG), Halit Habip Oğlu, paid a working visit to Ankara, the capital of Türkiye, the kin state of Turkic minorities and communities, on 25–27 December 2024.
During the last working visit of 2024 following the 10th Annual Meeting of FUEN TAG held in Ankara on 30 October–2 November 2024, Habip Oğlu met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chairperson of the TBMM Committee of Foreign Affairs and AK Party Ankara MP Fuat Oktay at the Parliament, Member of the PACE Turkish Delegation İYİ Party Edirne MP Mehmet Akalın and President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) Abdullah Eren which is operating under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
During his meetings in Ankara, FUEN TAG Spokesperson underlined the importance of Türkiye’s relentless support to the Turkic world with all its institutions and organisations and noted that this support makes a great contribution to the continuation of the cultural and social existence of Turkic minorities and communities. Furthermore, the TAG Spokesperson, as the Spokesperson of FUEN Working Group on Turkic Minorities/Communities (TAG), discussed the needs and demands for strengthening the relations of Turkic minorities and communities with the motherland.
