CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Project Coordinator
15.01.2024With over 100 member organisations in 36 European countries, FUEN is the largest umbrella organisation of autochthonous, national minorities and ethnic groups in Europe. It represents the interests of European minorities at regional, national and especially European level and is committed to preserving and promoting the identities, languages, cultures, rights and uniqueness of European minorities. FUEN was founded in Paris in 1949 and today has three offices: in Flensburg, Berlin and Brussels.
We are looking for a part-time project coordinator (24 hours per week) to support the activities of the education working group under the umbrella of FUEN as soon as possible.
Your tasks:
- Coordination, support and further development of the education working group,
- Preparatory information and public relations work for the education working group,
- Logistical and content-related planning, realisation and follow-up of the working meetings,
- Participation in thematically relevant events and event-related visits by (new) members/sponsors that serve the further development of the Education Working Group,
- Management of the allocated project funding,
- Application for national and international projects,
- Translation and proofreading activities.
Your profile:
- Completed relevant studies or comparable training
- Experience in project work and project management
- Communication skills, ability to work under pressure, organisational talent, reliability
- German language skills at native speaker level and business fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is desirable
- Ability to network and collaborate in a team
- Knowledge of relevant Office programmes
- Knowledge about minorities in Europe, especially about German minorities in Europe, is desirable
