Visitors from Ukraine
05.11.2014On Thursday 6 November 2014 the Commissioner of the Ukrainian Government for Minority Issues, Mr Gennadiy Druzenko, will visit the Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN) in Flensburg for an exchange of information and views about the European minorities.
The Commissioner is visiting Germany within the framework of the working programme of the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
Next to FUEN President Hans Heinrich Hansen the meeting will be attended by representatives of FUEN member organisations Bund Deutscher Nordschleswiger and Sydslesvigsk Forening and by the City Council President of Flensburg, Ms Swetlana Krätzschmar.
The meeting of the Commissioner with FUEN will be the first that takes place with a political representative in the new office of the House of Minorities.
Next to the visit to FUEN, Commissioner Druzenko also talks with the German Federal Government Commissioner for Matters Related to Ethnic German Resettlers and National Minorities, Mr Hartmut Koschyk MP, with representatives of the Minority Secretariat in Berlin and with representatives of the European Centre for Minority Issues (ECMI).
