
FUEN meets with Mohammad Darawshe, Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow of the Robert-Bosch-Foundation
12.05.2016FUEN President Hans Heinrich Hansen and Vice President Dieter Paul Küssner had a meeting today in the Office of the House of Minorities in Flensburg with Mohammad Darawshe, who is staying as a Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow at the Robert Bosch Academy in Berlin for several months.
The topic of discussion in general was how majority and minority populations can live together socially and politically.
Hans Heinrich Hansen and Dieter Paul Küssner told about the activities of FUEN and on the challenges that the minorities are facing.
Mohammad Darawshe is one of the leading experts for Jewish-Arabic relations in Israel. Since 2014 he has been the Director of Planning, Equality and Shared Society at the Givat Haviva Institute. He is also a member of the three-sector-talks and the strategic planning team of the authority for economic development in the Arabic sector at the office of the Prime Minister.
Mr Darawshe is very much interested in the work of FUEN and wants to maintain personal contacts with FUEN.
