FEDERAL PRESIDENT FRANK-WALTER STEINMEIER AND MINISTER-PRESIDENT OF SCHLESWIG-HOLSTEIN DANIEL GÜNTHER TO VISIT FUEN IN FLENSBURG
25.09.2017Already back in 2015, at the celebration of the sixty-year anniversary of the Bonn-Copenhagen Declaration in Berlin, the former Foreign Minister Steinmeier emphasised the importance of minority issues for the success of a nation:
"With the ECMI and the FUEN, our centre for international minority issues is in Flensburg. We want to use the expertise of both these organisations for our foreign policy. "
In accordance with the topic of the President’s inauguration journey, 'Place of Democracy', the FUEN would like to take this opportunity to introduce their work to President Steinmeier and Minister-President Günther, but also present the project 'House of Minorities' as a place of democracy. The FUEN is looking forward to this meeting.
