FUEN attends the 70th Vienna Croatian Ball
23.01.2017On 21 January 2017 the 70th Vienna Croatian Ball took place in Parkhotel Schönbrunn, under the motto of “Hrvati meet Schönbrunn”. The Croatian Ball, organised by our member organisation Hrvatski centar /Croatian Centre in Vienna is THE social event of the Croats in Vienna and a symbol of their community – of the Croatian culture and language in the city.
This year FUEN Vice President Olga Martens had accepted the invitation to celebrate together with the Croatian minority in Vienna their most important event of the year.
The Croatian Ball has not only an integrative and intercultural character, but is also an expression of the respect and a sign of the self-esteem of the Croatian community in Vienna. The Vienna Croatian Ball is based on four pillars: culture, diplomacy, economy and polictics – and combines the metropolitan flair of Vienna, the famous Viennese ballroom tradition with a clear Croatian flavour.
