The opening of the FUEN Congress in livestream – be there!
07.09.2023The 67th FUEN Congress in Pécs/Fünfkirchen/Pečuh, Hungary, begins this afternoon. Europe's largest meeting of autochthonous national minorities and language communities starts at 3 p.m. with the opening event in the Kodály Centre with greetings from
- Ibolya Hock-Englender, Chairperson of the LdU
- Loránt Vincze, FUEN President and MEP
- Attila Péterffy, Mayor of Pécs / Fünfkirchen / Pečuh
- Árpád János Potápi, State Secretary for Hungarian Communities Abroad
- Dr. Elisabeth Sándor-Szalay, Deputy Ombudsperson for Minority Rights and Member of the Council of Europe FCNM Advisory Committee
- Emmerich Ritter, Chairman of the Nationalities Committee in the Hungarian Parliament
This will be followed by the presentation of the FUEN Prize 2023.
